Close
Kevin is a founding partner of Balfe Holland, the Melville-based commercial law firm he helped form following a 15-year association with Gandin, Schotsky, Rappaport, Glass & Greene, LLP, where he served as the firm’s Managing Partner. Balfe Holland now serves as counsel to the Long Island business community, and Kevin concentrates his efforts on providing the firm’s diverse commercial clientele with legal guidance and representation. While the firm has a reputation for excellence in a number of legal fields, Kevin’s practice centers on the structure and documentation of commercial transactions, the purchase and sale of businesses, and the litigation of complex matters involving banking, real estate, and other commercial issues.

A born and bred Long Islander, Kevin graduated summa cum laude from Long Island University, and with distinction from Hofstra University School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the School’s Law Review.

Kevin has lectured over the past years on diverse topics that include the structure and utilization of limited liability companies, legal obligations and responsibilities of real estate brokers, practice and procedure of commercial foreclosure actions, commercial equity lines of credit, and structure and documentation of commercial loan transactions.

Kevin and his wife Ellen reside with their three children in St. James, where Kevin serves as Village Justice for the Village of Nissequogue.
